I bought this book to share with other iguana breeders here in El Salvador.
Juan Rosales, iguana breeder

It's not only a useful reference, but also damn entertaining reading. I was amazed at how easy it was to read such an imposing pile of words! The layout makes it extremely easy to jump in and begin reading the passages of interest. Also, the many italicized quotes are so consistently charming that they entice the reader to begin wherever they appear (which is practically everywhere!). You have done a masterful job with font changes and open space. I expect you will have imitators.
The tome represents an impressive piece of scholarship...you have obviously really dug into every nook and cranny of iguana care and ferreted out the key points, even if others have not bothered to investigate. Most importantly, your zeal for completeness did not lead you to draw conclusions where the science was ambiguous (e.g., fecal consumption by hatchlings). Nice work.
I found your writing style to be...very straightforward, easy to read, and consistently clear. The writing is not only entertaining and brisk, but the elevated moral tone merits great respect. For example, your pleas for not breeding iguanas unless one can provide for the iguanas is refreshing. You are obviously not a patsy for the pet industry.
My guess [is] that you have a winner. Congratulations.
